The essence of my work is based on the simple pleasure of recording my observations of the natural world. I don’t seek to replicate nature, instead my art process deconstructs it, searching for beautiful imperfections and making them visible. My work is gestural and impulsive at times, physically reacting to emotions triggered upon seeing shapes, rhythms, colors and textures in nature. The organic shapes I create form a framework for capturing and expressing creative, vibrant, and joyful energy. Unearthing those energies through deconstruction and abstraction allows for layers of interpretations. Ultimately, giving

the viewer an invitation to dive into tiny

moments where everything resides.
