I was born in Chicago of a lineage of blacksmiths, photographers, seamstresses, and cookie bakers. Like my family before me, I work with my hands.

I majored in art since kindergarten and received my Bachelor of Arts in 1976.

For the past 40 years, I have been working in clay and cloth. Whether large or small, each mime is individually designed as a one of a kind piece.
