Trained at the University of Washington School of Fine Art in Seattle, Jennifer Lommers received her BFA in Painting in 1992 and teaching certification from Western Washington University in 1995. An established painter, often inspired by nature, Lommers is pushing the boundaries of her art practice by exploring new media and disciplines. Embracing natural, found, and vintage materials combined with various printmaking and collage techniques and fiber arts practices, Lommers leans into her experience with patterns, colors, and textures while exploring narrative elements around community,
