My name is Betsy Resnick. I am a sterling silver jewelry maker. I hand fabricate my jewelry of sheet and wire while also setting stones in my work. I've been creating art since I was young. I grew up around artistic creators who encouraged creative making of all sorts. I have been vending my jewelry at the Oregon County Fair for the last 22 years. As well as jewelry, I am recently painting rocks as a way to introduce some extreme color into my art. I enjoy the dramatic curves of the rocks which dictates and challenges me in what the images will become. I think as a jeweler for me, the rocks represent a different small world to create art with.
